A hungry Japanese grass lizard mistook the mole on the back of his human's hand for an insect and tried desperately to eat it.

According to the owner, he usually gives it food on the palm but this time it jumped onto the back of his hand. When the owner was about to give it food, he found the lizard already trying to 'eat' the mole on his hand after probably mistaking it for an insect.

The lizard, called 'kanahebi' in Japanese, is all of us when hungry!
