In a shocking incident, a minor child stole Rs 100,000 ($1,361) from a bank in broad daylight in central India's Madhya Pradesh on September 7.

The incident took place at State Bank of India Kiosk Center in Sendhwa in Barwani district.

According to reports, a person withdrew the cash and kept it on the table for bank operations.

The video shows the boy entering the crowded bank while others are unaware of his motive.

He proceeds to stand in the queue next to the table where the cash was kept.

In a swift move, he grabs the cash and walks out of the bank unchallenged.

A woman employee spotted the theft and immediately alerted her colleagues.

Sources suggest the bank manager pursued the child, however, failed to catch him.

A complaint has been lodged with the police and further investigation is ongoing.
