Amsterdam's famous canal walls are collapsing
Amsterdam's canals are very old and have now started collapsing. Despite ongoing renovation to many areas it's not enough to stop some walls falling into the water. The roughly 15 meter (50 foot) section of wall on the Grimburgwal, near the city’s central Dam square, abruptly fell into the water.
