Motorbike rider slams into the ground when chain snaps
A man was injured after his motorbike's chain snapped sending him skidding along the road.
Footage shows the unlucky rider losing control and slamming into the ground in Kalasin, northeastern Thailand, on September 8.
Passersby rushed to help the man who was lying face down on the road while they called the emergency rescuers for help.
Paramedics arrived on the scene and applied first aid to grazes on his legs. He also had minor scratches on his head, arms, hands, and knees.
They took him to the hospital afterwards where he stayed overnight before being released.
Speaking at the hospital, the rider said he was heading back home from the market when his chain suddenly busted out of his bike.
He said: "I was startled when I crashed and hit the ground. It could have been much worse if it was on a busy road with other vehicles.''
