A dog was rescued after getting itself stuck in between the railings of a school gate in southern India's Tamil Nadu.

The rescue team in Cuddalore had to tie the dog's mouth shut due to its unpredictable nature. The animal was released after an hour-long operation.

As lockdown restrictions are on due to the pandemic all schools were shut for the past six months in Cuddalore district of Tamilnadu. Stray dogs used these schools as their habitat for time being. Likewise when a dog was about to get in the school through the space in between the gate it got struck in the gate. On seeing this the local public informed the rescue team. The team rushed and they found it hard to tie it's mouth for the rescue as it was very ferocious. After a struggle of one hour the dog s mouth was tied and it was released from the gates. Then the ropes were untied from its mouth.
