2019 Cape Town Carnival
The annual Cape Town Carnival took place at the Greenpoint Fan Walk after it was officially opened by Cape Town Mayor Dan Plato and Minister of Arts and Culture Nathi Mthetwa. It is estimated that more than 55 000 people lined the street to watch the colourful festival which started in 2010.
