A group of migrants crossing the English Channel have been rescued and escorted into the Port of Dover in Kent, UK on Monday (September 14).

The migrants are seen wearing life jackets on the vessel before being handed towels to keep them warm.

Some of the migrants were transported to smaller boats from a Border Force vessel whilst others arrived on a patrol boat with their inflatable dinghies towed behind.

Dover, Kent, September 14th 2020. With a few days of warm weather and calm seas ahead a higher number of refugees crossing the English Channel is expected. Just after sunrise Border Force boats started bringing refugees rescued from their small inflatable boats ashore at Dover Harbour, in Kent. Some were trans-shipped to smaller boats from a Border Force cutter in the outer harbour whilst others arrived on a patrol boat with their dinghies in tow behind other Border Force boats.
