A woman in eastern India's Baripada released three chameleons after rescuing them from crossing a busy road.

Footage filmed on September 1 shows Sasmita Gochhait placing the lizards on a tree in a wooded area.

Gochhait found the injured reptiles crossing a street and after four days of treatment, she released them back into the wild.

Three chamelions crossed the road, injuring one chamelion, injuring two of his hind legs and preventing him from crossing the road. At this point, an animal lover woman Sasmita Gochhait was walking down the street. He took three chamelions to his home and treated both of his injured legs. After 3 to 4 days of treatment, 3 chamelions were taken and left on a tree in the forest.
