A video captured a failed robbery attempt at a jewellery store in western India's Maharashtra.

The visual came out of a Shree Aadinath Jewellers in Nala Sopara on September 15.

The video shows a man armed with a knife and a gun barging into the shop trying to extort money.

However, the shopkeeper denies to give in and confronts the miscreant.

Visuals capture this shop grabbing a tray-like item and attempting to hit back at the thief.

Failed to extort money, the accused decides to flee the spot.

CCTV footage installed outside the shop shows the man dashing for his bike.

However, several people from the shop pursue him and try to nab him.

Following this, the person escapes the spot.

Sources suggest he left his motorcycle outside the shop.
