US: Bobcat Fire Grows To More Than 55,000 Acres, Firefighting Continues

Bobcat Fire has burned more than 55,000 acres in the Angeles National Forest in southern California with 9 percent containment.

Over 1,000 firefighter continued tackling the fire for the 12th day on Thursday, September 17 with help from helicopters and planes.

A video posted on social media shows a fire raging on the side of Angeles Crest Highway at Charlton Flats Picnic Area with a massive smoke billowing and a helicopter dumping water from above.
