A furious wife chased her husband and his alleged mistress after seeing them driving to a hotel.

The suspicious woman followed her partner before spotting him in a white car with a younger woman in Hanoi, Vietnam, on September 15.

Footage shows how she then blocked traffic while yanking open her husband's car door and seeing his partner in a revealing black dress.

Shocked locals crowded round to watch the love triangle unfold as the wife dragged her husband from the car and pulled his mistress's hair.

The young woman appeared to have been overwhelmed with the punches as she yelled for help while the husband held the two apart.

A security guard who works in one of the shops in the area, said: ''When there was a fight, everyone knew that the woman was the wife of the man because she was screaming something about them going to a love motel."

The commotion held traffic in the busy commercial district for almost half an hour, before they all left when someone reported the incident to the police.

The husband and the younger woman ran back to the car and turned into an alley across the street, while the wife rode her motorcycle away from the scene.

The young woman had a few scratches on her exposed back but no one was reported seriously injured in the lover's scuffle.

Police in the Cua Dong district said they are now looking for the identities of the people involved in the scandal so they can press charges for causing public disorder.
