This was the moment a group of roadside bystanders had a lucky escape when a truck flipped and came crashing down just a few metres from them.

The terrifying incident occurred at Jhunjhunu in Rajasthan on September 18th and was captured on CCTV.

The truck, laden with soap cartons, was on its way fro Urika to Jaipur.

While passing through the Jhunjhunu city, the driver attempted to negotiate a sharp turn at high speed, rocking the vehicle onto two wheels and then toppling over onto the roadside.

The security camera footage shows a group of men sitting outside a building, leap out of the way as the truck hurtles towards them.

A local police official Virendra Singh rushed to the spot after the accident.

He said: “No-one was injured in the accident though shop eepers have complained of damage. We are investigating and will take action according to the law.”

A traffic police CCTV camera filmed the truck driver trying to make a sharp turn without slowing down and toppling. A group of men who were sitting in the vicinity saw the pout of control truck and managed to flee on time.

A local police official Virendra Singh rushed to the spot after the accident. He said: “None was injured in the accident though shop keepers have complained of damage. We are investigating and will take action according to the law.”
