Tens of thousands protesters gathered and stayed overnight at the Sanam Luang square in front of the Grand Palace, Bangkok Saturday, September 19 despite the warning from Prime Minister Prayuth Chan-ocha to cancel the event.

The protesters demanded the resignation of the government and the reform of the monarchy.

There were several speakers on the stage in the square as well as some skits and music performances.
