Three people in a car miraculously escaped death after their vehicle was crushed underneath a truck and then dragged for around 100m along a highway in China.

The terrifying video, shot in the city of Hangzhou in Zhejiang Province on September 17, shows a white car with its head stuck under a truck being dragged along the Hangzhou-Huizhou Expressway.

After the truck stopped on the side of the road, a woman was seen coming out of the car.

According to reports, the white car driver, named Shen, was with two other friends driving on the highway behind the truck.

When the truck suddenly braked and the car was too close to stop, the car ran into the truck's rear and became trapped underneath it.

Fortunately, all involved suffered only minor injuries, with two people in the car having skin trauma and one person suffered fractures to her nose bridge, but none of them were in life-threatening condition.

9月17日9时26分许，浙江交投集团杭黄管理处监控中心接到临安120的转接电话称，杭徽高速杭州龙岗附近有一交通事故，车上有人员受伤。
接到报警电话后，监控员立即调转监控寻找事故车辆，快速的在安徽方向57公里+200米处发现了事故车辆，与报警的位置相差近40公里。经过监控视频回放发现，一辆红色的大货车拖着一辆白色的小轿车正在行驶，货车司机可能是发现了什么，车子停了下来，这时白色小车先后下来3名女子。
民警到达现场后，发现是一辆湖北牌照的白色奥迪车，车头钻进了货车的车底，车上3个女性脸上和身上都有血迹，其中一位更是痛苦地蹲在地上，随后120救护车到达现场接走了受伤人员。
据货车驾驶员吴师傅讲，当时他正在正常的行驶，突然听到“咚”的一声，感觉好像是被追尾了，通过后视镜发现一辆小车正跟着他的车子前行，然后就停下了车子。白色小车驾驶员沈女士说，今天早上6点半左右从海盐出发回湖北崇阳老家，车上坐着她的两个小姐妹，当时天气正下着大雨，视线不是很好，就跟着前面的货车在第二车道开，突然前方的货车刹车了，由于跟车距离太近，还没有反应过来，车子就一头扎进了进去……
“好在我们3个人都没有大事，只是受了点皮外伤。”说到这里，沈小姐擦了一下脸上的血迹，看的出来，沈小姐还是惊魂未定。后经从医院了解得知，3个人都是脸部受了一些皮外伤，副驾驶座上的人鼻梁骨折，均无生命危险。
经民警现场勘察发现，小车扎进货车的底部后，是货车的备胎挡住了小车“继续前往的脚步”这才避免了更大后果的发生，如果不是货车的备胎，后果真是不堪设想。（视频由杭州台提供）
