We have seen elephants either chasing the vehicles or running away from the vehicles with fear but an elephant in Arasur village of Sathyamangalam area of Tamilnadu walked backwards in a Sathyamangalam- Mysore national highway that runs through the forest.

The female elephant came to the highway to pick the sugarcane that fell from the lorries that carry sugarcane loads. It was eating sugarcane freely on the highway but when vehicles came it stopped eating and it moved away from the highway to leave way for the vehicles. After the vehicles crossed the place it resumed eating. The entire footage was recorded in the camera
