Brits panic-buying toilet roll after fears grow of second lockdown
Dozens were seen queuing outside Costo in Wembley, London on Thursday (September 24), hours before new coronavirus restrictions are expected to come into effect.
The footage also shows customers buying large quantities of toilet paper.
The filmer told Newsflare: "As soon as they opened, everyone went straight to the toilet paper. Today there were people queuing, which hasn't happened for a while."
UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced on Tuesday a set of new COVID-19 restrictions to curb the spread of the virus, including a 10 pm curfew for restaurants and pubs.
