This is the amusing moment a cat gets nervous when a huge lizard on the wall tries to jump on it.

Joeliza Pechera woke up late at night when she heard a loud noise from the balcony of her house in Laguna, the Philippines.

There she saw her one-year-old cat Luna staring on a huge tokay gecko by the wall. The cat tried to touch the lizard, but it resisted and made a sudden move which made the cat jump in surprise.

Joeliza said: "The reaction of my cat is so funny and her face so curious, I feel like she can't believe the appearance of what she saw.''

Tokay Gecko is often erroneously believed to be venomous. But the bite is not poisonous even though it is painful. Research show that they carry various bacteria that can cause health problems.
