A French citizen hitchhikes around Brazil. Dropped at a gas station near Foz do Iguaçu, he tries to find a new driver from there. Going to say hi to drivers and politely asking them if they were going his way and could give him a ride a bit further. But the gas station owner doesn't want any hitchhiker around and asks him to leave. Knowing that he was polite with drivers and not causing any trouble, the hitchhiker stays around. A few minutes later he decides to walk further though, to avoid causing trouble. But while walking away he's called a bum. The tourist asks for explanations, and is hit once. He starts filming, the local says he's gonna call the police, which the tourist says that it's a good idea, and now ask for it. The gas station owner hits him a second time, breaking the tourist's glasses, with the glass cutting him and making him bleed. A car comes to his rescue, the tourist asks the driver to call the police for him.
