A group of activists stage a protest in support of Wikileaks founder Julian Assange in Piccadilly Circus ahead of the last week of his extradition trial at Old Bailey. Assange's full extradition hearing is expected to end on October 2. He was arrested at the Ecuadorian Embassy in London on April 11 last year. The United States is seeking Assange's extradition to face charges of conspiracy to commit computer intrusion, a request which was certified by then-Home Secretary Sajid Javid. the hearing was scheduled to take place over four weeks. Hearing began on September 7 but was postponed on September 10 amid concerns that a member of the legal team had potentially been exposed to coronavirus.
