Since Alexander Lukashenko had his secret inauguration on Wednesday, people of Belarus called their weekly march a Popular inauguration of the chosen president. Tens of thousands of protesters all ages went out to the streets of Minsk to show their disagreement. They were ironically wearing crowns, called Lukashenko "Rat King". People were carrying pictures of Svetlana Tikhanovskaya, flags and posters saying "Svetlana is my President", chanting "Sveta is the president" (Sveta is short for Svetlana), "Go away you and your police", "Long live Belarus", "Go away". Some people living in buildings on march's way were supporting demonstrators by waving with flags or playing music. Sportsmen, musicians, bikers and factory workers joined protesters as well.
