A baby leopard that was separated from its family was rescued and cared for by villagers in Rajsamand, western India.

Footage filmed on September 29 shows mining workers feeding the baby big cat milk before informing forest officials.

The baby leopard will be reunited with its family once officials locate the mother.

A recently born baby panther ,who seems parted from his family was spotted by workers of Nijharna mining workers in Rajsamand on 29th September .
The baby panther was seen roaming there and hiding behind the marbles . Workers told that the baby panther seems one day old only , initially we were scared to hold and rescue the baby panther thinking the mother would be nearby and can attack , but we didn't find any other panther there .
The mining workers feed the baby panther milk and informed the forest department .
Forest department took baby panther in coustody , according to the DFO they are searching for the mother and the baby panther will be left in forest as soon as they find the mother .
