Chinese passengers applaud after brave bus driver stops thieves on board
Passengers applauded after a brave driver shouted to stop four thieves on board a bus in northern China.
The CCTV video, filmed in the city of Xianyang in Shaanxi Province on September 10, shows a woman in a green T-shirt attempting to steal a purse from an elderly woman in a dark shirt on the seat.
Since the robbers did not stop the crime after the driver warned the passengers to take care of their properties multiple times, the driver then shouted loudly to stop them.
Passengers on the bus then clapped for the driver together.
During an interview, the driver named Zhang Jitao said he is a retired soldier and it was his obligation to stop the crime.
