Disabled teenager draws symbolic portrait demanding justice for sexually abused victim in northern India
A 14-year-old amputee drew a symbolic portrait demanding justice for a sexually abused victim in the north Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. He is a resident of Jalalabad village in Kannauj district.
The video shows the boy drawing the portrait with his feet for the victim who lost her life after putting up a tough battle against her injuries.
In a ghastly crime committed a few days ago a 19-year-old girl was allegedly sexually abused and physically tortured by four upper class men in a farm in Hathras district of Uttar Pradesh.
The girl suffered grave injuries as a result of the incident, and sustained a damaged spinal cord after being strangled by the accused. She was later shifted to All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) Delhi for treatment from Uttar Pradesh.
After two long weeks of struggle on the ventilator she lost the battle of her life on September 29 morning.
Her death has triggered protests all across the country demanding justice for the girl.
