Armenian residents in Glendale, California, protested on Tuesday evening September 29 against the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict as 'Azerbaijan's aggression' escalates.

The California Armenian community took to the streets waving Armenian flags and signs reading 'Artsakh is Armenia' to show their anger at the battle as casualties rise.

The disputed region is controlled by the self-declared Republic of Artsakh but is internationally recognized as part of Azerbaijan.

The fighting started on Sunday with the 'republic' reporting at least 84 military deaths along with civilian victims.
