This Indian inventor has built a device that he claims can quell the spread of COVID-19 through bipolar ionisation technology.

Abhishek Mudgal from Narsinghpur city in central Madhya Pradesh has built a device that he claims neutralises the virus.

Mudgal demonstrates how the box works by filling it with smoke. The contraption converts molecules of oxygen by charging the atoms, which results in the harmful particles being surrounded and deactivated; this method can help prevent the spread of airborne mould, bacteria, allergens and viruses alike, it is claimed.

Bipolar ionisation enlarges respiratory droplets and dust particles forcing them to get caught in filters, which reduces the spread of airborne diseases.

The process has been used in heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems in the healthcare industry since the seventies and has said to reduce 99.9% of microbes in minutes.

Mudgal says that he has written a letter to the Indian government to carry out trial runs for the prototype but has yet to receive a reply.

An Indian man has invented a machine that he claims will be able to neutralize the virus in the blink of an eye in central India's Madhya Pradesh. The inventor is a resident of Narisinghpur under Jabalpur division.

Abhishek Mudgal, the creator has claimed that by switching the machine on, it protects humans in more than one way.

Mudgal undertook extensive research on the methods by which the virus could be contained and came across a method called 'bipolar ionization'.

The technology utilizes specialized tubes that take oxygen molecules from the air and convert them into charged atoms that cluster around microparticles, surrounding and deactivating harmful substances like airborne mould, bacteria, allergens and viruses.

They also attach to expelled breath droplets and dust particles that can transport viruses, enlarging them so they are easier to be caught in filters. It is an active process that provides continuous disinfection.

The visual shows the prototype named AMions which contains smoke inside a box surrounded by glass windows.

Mudgal turns on the machine and the smoke completely disappears.

Mudgal has written a letter to the Indian government to carry out trial runs for the prototype, for which he is awaiting a reply.
