Fire destroyed a wooden furniture factory in Rayong, eastern Thailand on Wednesday night (September 30).

Twenty fire trucks rushed to stop the blaze as flames tore through the building. The charred roof collapsed while firemen battled to contain the inferno.

Home Max company, which imports and exports the furniture and construction materials, said there were thousands of foam pads inside the building, which caused the fire to spread rapidly.

The causes of fire will be further investigated by local police. No injuries or deaths were reported.
