This adorable parrot leant into his owner's hands in a viral trend seeing how pets react when their owner's stop before petting them.

Tia van Bockel films Ziggy's reaction when she goes to pet him but stops just a few inches away.

Tia told Newsflare: "I've seen this trend around recently where people go to pet their animals and stop their hand a few centimetres away, and the dog or cat will meet them in the middle.

"So I tried it with my parrot, Ziggy, and he just went for it! He loves snuggles, especially when I wrap my hand around him like a blanket. You can even see he lifts up one foot when he first goes into my hand - that's a sign of a very content, relaxed bird.

"I moved my hand away to see what would happen, and sure enough, he followed it and cuddled up again immediately!"
