Hundreds clashed with police forces in New Delhi during a protest demanding justice for a 19-year-old who passed away after being the victim of a gang rape.

Footage filmed on October 3 shows dozens of baton-wielding police officers attempting to diffuse the protest.

Several Congress workers were injured in the sudden lathi charge.
