This is the hilarious moment a man burst into different Kung Fu stances to scare away two ferocious guards dogs.

The Dobermans charged at the pedestrian when he veered from the payment onto their owner's driveway in Quang Tri province, Vietnam on September 28.

But instead of fleeing from the first snarling mutt, the mad calmly motioned his hands and legs in martial arts style moves, which confused the animal.

A second guard dog came charging at him, but it was also hesitant after seeing his strange moves.

The man's martial arts moves appeared to be effective as the Dobermans nervously backed off and they let him leave the property unscathed.

The owner of the house said he burst out laughing hard when he watched back the footage to see why his guard dogs had been barking.

He said his pets might have gone into attack mode because they felt threatened by the man, who appeared to be drunk while walking home from one of the nearby bars.

Their master, Dao, said: "I know the guy, he's my neighbour and he's often drunk. My dogs may already be familiar with him but I think they could smell the alcohol and they felt threatened.

"I'm glad that my dogs were confused with his Kung Fu, or he would have been bitten when he stepped foot on my driveway.

''However, I'm a little bit worried now that any burglars know how to overpower my dogs without even touching them.''

Dobermans are great guard dogs as they are incredibly fast and can reach an intruder in a short amount of time. They are also known as the fifth smartest dog in the world, studies show.
