Hundreds of freelance musicians played tunes from Holst outside the Houses of Parliament to ask the British government for more support to mitigate the effects of the coronavirus restrictions on live performance venues and to highlight the plight of the arts. Organized in tandem with the #WeMakeEvents and #LetMusicLive campaigns, today’s event (October 6) outside the Houses of Parliament was backed by the Musicians’ Union too.
