Safari goers charged by elephant bull in Tanzania
These two safari-goers got charged by an elephant during their first game drive.
The clip, filmed in June 2016, shows Ricky and Shaton driving through Ruaha National Park, Tanzania before they stop to watch the elephants, when a young plucky bull comes to defend its herd.
"On our first game drive we were charged by an elephant but thanks to our Guide named Prosper, we stayed calm, holding our breath and the situation resolved itself.
"The elephant tried to mark his territory while the rest of the family members pass by in safety. It was one of the most amazing experiences ever!"
"Since it was Shaton’s first-ever safari she was extremely scared, I experienced a charging elephant before and knew if we keep calm nothing will happen. But the adrenaline rush is crazy for sure." Ricky explained.
