A brawl broke out onboard an Allegiant flight bound from Mesa, Arizona to Provo, Utah on October 3 after one passenger allegedly refused to wear a mask.

Footage captured by @bakedbyrylie shows numerous people in close contact in the brawl with many words exchanged as one airline staff member attempts to keep the peace.

The argument was said to have started when a flight attendant asked a man wearing a face shield to switch to a face mask, upon refusal another passenger rebuked the man, provoking the scuffle.

The filmer explained in a post-flight vlog on Instagram that the man in question was being "rude and condescending" towards the staff, despite them being "so patient with him."

They thought the exchange between the two passengers was "weird banter" before it resulted in violence.

She said in the vlog: "All hell breaks loose...as soon as we see arms flailing we bolt to the front with the flight attendant."

She explained that the man who refused to wear a mask was removed from the flight and was escorted out by police, while the other man involved in the fight remained onboard.
