Thousands of university students and laborers gather at the city center as they protested Job Creation Law in Makassar, Indonesia. During the protest, some of the protestors clash with local police. According to the local media, thousands of students and workers took to the streets in several regions across the country on Thursday to voice their opposition to the recently passed Job Creation Law. Clashes between protestors and police erupted in several regions, including Jakarta where protestors rallied hundreds of meters from the State Palace. Similar clashes also broke out in Yogyakarta; Denpasar, Bali; Medan, North Sumatra; and Palu, Central Sulawesi.
