Beautiful tropical Modessa Island in the Philippines
Stunning aerial footage filmed with a drone shows Modessa Island in Palawan, the Philippines.
The tiny island, popular with tourists, is found between the Sulu Sea and the South China Sea in the south west are of the country. Modessa Island has just a handful of bamboo huts for accommodation. They cost around 100USD per night.
The video was filmed in March shortly before the coronavirus pandemic shut down global travel. However, Modessa Island is currenly open to residents in the Philippines for domestic tourism.
''This is the perfect place to spend lockdown,'' said the filmer. ''It's one of the most beautiful islands in the Philippines.''
The Philippines is an archipelago of around 7,641 islands in Southeast Asia.
