Extinction Rebellion protest in London against McDonald's, Burger King and the Brazilian government

Climate activists Extinction Rebellion protested in central London on Saturday 10 October, against fast-food chains and Brazilian government inaction to protect the Amazon rainforest.

Protesters marched from the Brazilian Embassy to Leicester Square, where they give speeches outside a branch of Burger King.

Extinction Rebellion London tweeted: "Large-scale agribusiness is burning & clearing huge swathes of native forest to make plantations. These high street companies are responsible for this destruction
@Tesco @sainsburys @McDonalds @BurgerKing @SUBWAY. We call for a worldwide boycott."
