A boy hanging from the roof of a building in southern India had a lucky escape when a local man caught him as he fell.

Ezhil, aged 5, and his sister Kavisovia, 9 years old, were playing on the building's roof terrace without anyone overseeing them.

Ezhil fell from the roof but luckily her sister caught him. Unfortunately she wasn't strong enough to pull him back up so they both started shouting for help.

A local street seller of powdered bleach ran to the scene and asked the girl to let her bother go, at which point he was able to catch the young boy.

When they were playing near a corner of the terrace that has no parapet wall ezhil fell down but luckily her sister caught him but she can't able to lift him up as he was too heavy for her to lift. Unknowingly on what to do both started to shout for help. Hearing the kids noise a belching powder vendor who was selling his goods on street s ran in the direction from where he heard the noise.
