This is the touching moment a mother cat lead a kind human to her hungry kittens so he would rescue them.

Charan Thabsai, 55, was taking his usual nighttime walk in Phuket, southern Thailand, when he came across the stray cat he used to feed.

The cat lover said he used to give bowls of cat food for the then-pregnant feline until it appeared again a week later that night without the cat baby bump.

He said: "She always came and asked for food every day when she was pregnant. I hadn't seen her for a while after she gave birth, then she showed up unexpectedly.''

Charan played with the cat for a moment before asking it about the babies. He was shocked when the cat led him to a vacant lot as if it understood what he was saying.

He then held a torch to light their way into the kittens who were hidden in the grassy part of a vacant lot nearby.

The four kittens appeared starving and cold from the wet grass field that had just been rained on.

The mother cat cuddled her babies and let the man hold them in his palms. He sat and sweetly talked with the cats for a few minutes to gain her trust before taking the family home.

The mother cat and her kittens are now adopted by the kind man and live with him in his home.

Charan said he has named the mother cat 'Meow'.

He added: ''They would have had a hard time finding food. I think that the mother cat wanted me to help. I'm so glad she came to me.''
