Chaos on the street as telephone wires collapse
A telephone wires that collapsed across a road in Indonesia caused chaos for motorists.
Footage filmed on October 14 in Bukittinggi shows the black cable slouching across the road as motorists and motorcyclists attempt to navigate it.
Motorcyclists duck underneath it and the coachman was forced to get down and guide his horse through the wires.
Police who saw the chaos were seen getting out of the car and then with his friend trying to lift the wires so that the motorist could pass under it.
Traffic flow returned to normal 2 hours later after an employee from the state telephone company returned the wires to its original position.
A telephone wires is thought collapsed as the position on the pole was brittle.
