Photographer James Treft captured this gustnado in Ohio and describes the scene
"Around 6:40 P.M I was getting into position to get overtaken by a stout cold front with a few thunderstorms firing up along the front, around
7:20 I was overrun by the front and after it passed over, the wind started racing at about 40 miles an hour, crops were flying through the air
and trees were shaking like crazy. I was looking to my east while filming and out of the corner of my eye, a gustnado spun up about 500
feet in front of me, while being very short-lived the gustnado sure was spinning fast, after it dissipated the temperatures began to drop
substantially as the cold front continued east."
