This adorable pooch wore a helmet and shades while joining his beloved owner for a motorbike ride to the market.

Footage shows the brown pooch smartly climbing up the motorbike to join his owner for a trip to the market in Khon Kaen, northern Thailand.

Fisherman Prachak Poonmak adopted the clever pooch when he found the previous owner hitting the dog with wooden sticks. He said he couldn't stand seeing the poor animal being abused.

After adopting the pooch, Prachak trained the canine to climb up on the two-wheeler as it is his only vehicle and he never wanted to leave him alone.

Prachak said: "I only taught him once. He's a fast learner, he never fell from the bike even once after being with me for the last three years."
