A dramatic video has emerged of a Derby County fan running onto a football pitch and appearing to aim a punch at a Nottingham Forest player during an East Midlands derby match on Saturday.

The footage, captured by a Nottingham Forest supporter at Pride Park stadium, shows the pitch invader swinging at Forest defender Kevin Wilson seconds before the full time whistle.

Stewards can be seen quickly wrestling the assailant to the ground, while other Forest players celebrate a 2-1 win over their local rivals.
