Hundreds of steamed buns floated on a river as local residents threw them in to feed the fish in southern China.

The video, filmed in the city of Nanning in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on October 15, shows dozens of steamed buns piling up on a shore and several people throwing them into the river.

In another clip, the steamed buns were seen floating on the river.

According to a local resident, several people transported a truck of steamed buns and several bags of rice to throw them into the river to feed the fish, they also released some loaches.

It took more than an hour for three cleaners to clear the buns up.
