Tourists fled as the massive Qiantang tidal bore slammed onto shore in eastern China.
The video, filmed in the city of Hangzhou in Zhejiang Province on October 18, shows people watching the tidal bore before running away quickly when massive waves crashed onto the shore.
A man was seen clinging himself onto a road sign to avoid being washed away by the waves.
According to a spectator named Yang, the massive tidal waves broke the guardrails and one person's phone was swept away during filming.
The tidal bore is an important scenic spot of Qiantang River.
