Rescuers saved residents trapped on the roof of a flooded house in Quang Binh in Vietnam on October 19.

The locals were reportedly climbing onto the roof to wait for the rescuers after their house being submerged by deep floodwater.

According to reports, 122 people died, dozens of people are missing and thousands of hectares of crops were damaged.

According to locals, floodwaters entered their homes so quickly that they could not move to safe areas. They had to climb to the roof to avoid floodwater and wait for the rescue team to arrive.
It is known that the rescue team arrived a few hours later and brought the family to safety.
The floodwaters had risen to 3 meters and were nearly inundated with the roof where they were hiding.
