Indian shop owner claims their Paratha is the biggest in Bangalore in southern India
A shop claims to have been serving the biggest paratha in the town of Bengaluru where a single paratha measures 24 inches in diameter and is prepared using 2 Kgs of wheat.
Shop that goes by the name 'Mooch Marod' offers over 40 types of veg parathas and 30 non-veg options in varying sizes.
Owner Anish Kumar says, "I came up with the idea of the gigantic parathas in order to encourage friends or families to sit around a plate and share a meal together."
"The largest paratha – emperor size – is 24 inches in diameter and is made with about two kilos of wheat and several dollops of butter"
"A customer can also choose paratha stuffings as per their choice but but our bestsellers include the Gobi Onion, Aloo, Aloo Paneer and Onion."
"We also serve Non-Veg options that include both chicken and mutton stuffed parathas."
There are several customers who came and tried to eat the biggest paratha as a challenge but no one could do so ever till date claims Anish Kumar.
He said that he is also planning to come with an interesting concept of offering prizes to the customer who can eat their gigantic paratha alone as he feels that would be his unique selling proposition in the future.
