Pyro cumulus clouds from Colorado wildfires.

I shot this video at 11,700 feet viewing what appeared to be the Cameron peak fire about 50 miles to my north north east. On the left fire smoke and ash have a much less impressive appearance. further down there windblown path they display convective properties in the form of pyro-cumulus clouds which have updrafts propelling them back into the suns last light. Fires can create their own weather and in certain cases they can create thunderstorms sparking new fires. Battling fierce winds it was hard to keep still and capture this unique perspective.
