Australia: Protesters Hit Police Horse With A Flag During Anti-Lockdown Demonstration In Melbourne
During an anti-lockdown protest in Melbourne on Friday, some of the protesters were seen hitting police horses with their flags during a scuffle with police.
Anti-lockdown protesters descended onto the Shrine of Remembrance in Melbourne on Friday afternoon, October 23, to call out Premier Daniel Andrews' tough measures to control COVID-19.
Protesters held placards with slogans saying COVID is a scam, etc. Arrests were made by police citing ban on gatherings and violation of prescribed behavior on the Shrine grounds.
