Lincoln Project's Ivanka Trump ad in Times Square goes dark after president's daughter threatens to sue
An advertising space in New York City’s Time Square that previously flashed statistics of COVID-19 deaths next to an image of Ivanka Trump, the US president’s daughter and advisor, went blank on Saturday (October 24).
An image of Jared Kushner, son-in-law and advisor to President Donald Trump, could still be seen in the billboard advertisement by The Lincoln Project.
An attorney representing. Kushner and Ivanka Trump called the advertisements "false, malicious and defamatory." The couple have reportedly threatened to sue.
The Lincoln Project is a group reportedly staffed by Republican operatives who are supporting Joe Biden, the Democratic nominee.
