A loving father created toy puppets from discarded materials to keep his children entertained.

Huy Quoc Tran wanted to limit the amount of time the youngsters spent playing on computers and phones.

To encourage their imagination and get them active while stuck at home, he used pen covers, shirt buttons, and some cords to make the little puppets doing kung fu.

The creative father recorded having his son having a good time with the puppets inside their home in Gia Lai, Vietnam.

Huy Quoc Tran says he can make the puppets in just 30 minutes because he is used to doing it and has loved to do it since he was a child.

He said: “I do not make puppets to sell, but give them to the children as a gift. I am glad that they are happy with the simple gift."
