Revellers in Nottingham hit the town on Saturday (October 24th) night for one last night out ahead of a possible Tier 3 lockdown.

Despite the wet weather, Nottingham city centre was busy with people visiting bars and pubs and there was also a large police presence.

Official talks between Nottinghamshire officials and the government to move parts of the county into Tier 3 talks were described as "continuing" on Friday evening (October 23rd).

Revellers in Nottingham hit the town as the city and other areas of Nottinghamshire prepared to be plunged into tier 3 lockdown on Wednesday 28th October. it comes as the county showed a worrying increase in coronavirus infection rates which a number of people have blamed on the night life industry and those who choose to ignore social distancing and the rule of 6 once they have had a drink.
